Charles Bonasera

After receiving his professional degree, Charles M. Bonasera he practiced as a psychotherapist and presently serves as a Consultant, Author, Workshop Presenter and Motivational Speaker. His roles focus on helping with individual, relationship and family-type problems as well as anger, guilt, depression and anxiety issues.  Another role he also works with athletes in competitive sports teaching them optimal ways of using their minds to develop and maintain focus and stay in their zone.

He founded the StressManagementCenterand the Sports Stress Clinic to evaluate and treat stress-related problems. As President of Personal Identity Controls, he developed and produced a number of interactive audio materials under the general title of WIN-WIN SECRETS dealing with many topics enabling people to take greater control their lives. He scripted and wrote a CD/workbook combination entitled “Guide to a Life Management Process” aimed at helping people recognize and manage stress more effectively.

His Workshops and consultations with sports training facilities, businesses, corporations and schools all stress the importance of the effective use of the mind to achieve success.  As a keynote speaker, he mixes his professional wisdom and humor with stories that demonstrate practical solutions to problems.  He took a leadership role in several professional organizations including his appointment to the New York State Board of Regents.

His book “How to Stay Well and Live Life to the Fullest” is filled with over 500 stories and sayings compiled over his years of practice that provide an incentive to change patterns. His book. “The Mental Side of Golf” contains training exercises for completive athletes.  The principles cited with respect to golf are also applicable to practicing effective life management techniques. His book, “How in the Hell Did This Happen to Me?” deals with changing unwanted patterns from childhood by using illustrative case studies.

His latest book, “The Legend of Little League” is based on his days of playing, coaching, managing, and refereeing many sports and serves as a primer for parents and coaches of Little League.
